Hello everyone,

I have only now noticed how badly the game actually is. Generally, this concept five against five is really nice. But then Ubisoft comes along and ruins everything again. I don't have fun playing this game anymore, because it just got bad. You can't even play an evening without being disconnected, teamkilled, trolled and/or play against hacker. About connections and servers: What do Ubisoft servers run on? Raspberry Pi's?
I have never seen such bad servers anywhere else. You just want to play a few rounds with friends and then you get the first matchmaking error and the friend is in another round instead of Ubisoft stopping the search for him as well. Also, the ranked system is trash.
Recently, squads that have a range of 1000 MMR points are no longer allowed to play ranked. In general, I don't understand Ubisoft's matchmaking system. The players who were once Gold I for example, with bronze/copper players now. There are a lot of idiots who go copper to get kills and improve their K/D. Then they just climb back up and that's it. You stay in the "copper spiral" and you need to play with players who have no skills and no aim, you don't rank up and you stay copper for the whole season. Trollers are also no longer consistently punished. I see them mostly a few days back in matches again, where I think why Ubisoft does nothing. And what has Ubisoft actually done with friendly fire-reverse? Why can you still kill someone with a C4 or grenade, even though you've had friendly fire reverse. That doesn't make sense. If you have friendly-fire reversal, you should just get back what you did to him. And in terms of punishment. . .
That's garbage.
For once leaven you get 30 minutes. I take a **** once and the 30 minutes and the time is up. Also, for teamkills you get so little penalty time. It should already start from 3 hours, because if you don't want to learn, you must feel. Ubisoft simply cannot act. They let hackers get away with everything and punishment is not an issue for them. How can you still have fun in this game if you get bad teammates, get kicked because the servers crash again or the team is trolling and you get a headshot every round.
Okay. . . Everybody was bad in Rainbow Six, but before that you have to be min. level <50 to play ranked, because you just don't have any experience and players think they are ESL pros who make an ace every round and then leave the round with zero kills and four deaths. And then screaming at us for dying, even though they die every round, trying to spawnpeak. And who has to suffer then, exactly, we players who just want to play a serious round without any trolls or server crashes. Unfortunately, I don't have a big squad playing on the PC and I just have to play with randoms. Many people will not understand this, because you are playing with friends who also have a PC. I don't know if I'm going to stop playing the game soon, because it only gets worse and worse after each season, instead of fixing the problems that have been there for severals years. But as long as Ubisoft earn their $25 a season, nothing matters. Just put out an uncreative operator and make money.
Ubisoft still has to do something to make the game better or do you think it's good the way it is now? In my opinion, Ubisoft still has a lot of work to do in Rainbow Six Siege, as I think a lot has been ignored and nothing has been improved.
I'm apologize for my poor English.

Hey thomaas. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experiences with us. (also don't worry, your English is completely fine )

You've hit on a lot of points that I understand the community is passionate about changing.

As far the 1,000 MMR limit is concerned, we implemented that to prevent high ranked players from boosting their lower ranked friends crating an imbalance in overarching MMR.

We are always looking for ways to improve our systems and pivot around our player's needs, and feedback like this is very helpful to the process. It can be very frustrating to be stuck in a position of wanting change and not being able to see it happen quickly. Our teams have been made aware of the issues with matchmaking that you are reporting.

Encountering toxicity is something our dev team is always looking to work against. the recently announced reputation system is a step against that (You can read more about it here ).

Again, thank you very much for taking the time to share your thoughts, we really do appreciate it.
