Hi

I was running out of room on my SSD. I bought Rainbow Six Siege via Epic Games. I did the following steps (found on epic support site) to move my other Epic games to another drive.
If you have a game installed on your computer from the Epic Games Launcher you can move it to another location using these steps:

1.Make a backup copy the game you want to move on your computer.
Navigate to the game installation directory. (Default: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\[Game Name])
Copy this game folder to another location on your computer.
2.Open the Epic Games Launcher.
3.Click on Library.
4.Locate the game you want to move. Click on the three dots next to it and click on Uninstall.
5.Once the game is uninstalled, click on the game in your Library to start installing it and select the new installation location you would like it to be in.
6.Once the download begins, after 2-3% is downloaded click on the three dots next to the game name and click on Cancel Install.
7.Navigate to the new installation directory you selected for the game and copy the backed up game folder to this location. If you receive a warning to replace any duplicate files click on Replace to do so.
8.Resume the installation process.
9.Once the files are verified, you should be able to launch the game.

The verify completed and Launch appeared under the RSS game tile.

For the other games once the above was completed and I launched the game, the game launched right away.
However, for RSS it is asking me to an install wizard but the default install location is still pointing to the C:\Program Files (x86)\ ubisoft...............This is the almost full SSD
My question is if the game will work if I change the install location to D:\Program Files (x86)\..... and manually create the same folder structure that appears as the default?
If there are any other considerations I will be happy if you can tell me.
THanks in advance

Hey chilling.matrix, thanks for getting in touch, welcome to forums and apologies about the delay in getting back to you.

If I understand correctly, you're asking whether you can change the location of your game files to another location whilst having the game installed through Epic Games Launcher.

If this was to be Ubisoft Connect launcher, you can just simply change the install path by using the Game Install Location and it will work fine, however as far as Epic Games Launcher goes, it's something that we do not have information on and you will need to refer to Epic Games Support instead.

Should you have any further questions or if I misunderstood your query, let us know!
