I'm level 400+, I've been playing Siege since launch. I have hundreds of kills with EVERY gun in this game (except some secondary weapons). Don't know how newer players feel, but I'm really bored.
Previously Ubi used to release 2 DLC ops a season and each had 3-4 new guns (6-8 new guns per season). Now they've shown us the roadmap for Y5 we know that in S3 and S4 we are gonna receive only 1 operator instead of 2. That 1 fact already sucks. And if neither of the new ops has a new gun I'll be really mad.
Ubi have mentioned that buying licenses for every single gun is expensive. That's a really poor excuse for such a big game dev but anyway, I'm sure they won't go bankrupt if they give just 1 new gun to every DLC operator. We've had such experience with Lion and Finka and I didn't see many people complaining back then.
