[2020] how do i revert vulkan?

since enabling vulkan my frames have dropped to around 40, is there any way to revert vulkan and go to the old pre vulkan?

You should be able to switch between the DirectX and Vulkan API's trough the Uplay launcher! This support article should show how to make the change.
