Sometimes playing Siege calls for you to play an Operator you particularly don't want to run. I know how you feel. I have to run Thermite a lot in my stack since my friends like to be entry fraggers, so I'm left to grab a hard breacher to help out. If you don't want to play Therm, try messing around with Maverick or Hibana! That might help to break up some of the monotony that can sometimes creep up when constantly playing Thermite.

I just had a pretty long QP session and played a bunch of roaming/frag operators I hadn't before and it was pretty eye opening to how different the game can feel when you're not forcing yourself to run with the pack all the time. Eventually we really did need a hard breach so I picked Hibana and I was actually really surprised how aggressive she could be compared to thermite! It was a lot of fun and I ended up winning a 1v4 towards the end of it and clutched out a game on match match point for both sides. I really think the lowered stress level of QP helps a lot, thanks for the advice!

Awesome, nice clutch! Yeah, playing roamers or an entry attack fragger after playing endless rounds as a breacher is a breath of fresh air. The game opens up in whole new ways for you and it's fun to be aggressive and push site from a position you normally wouldn't as a hard breacher. I'd say Hibana is probably the most aggressive hard breacher out of the three. I know some players find her Type 89 to be a bit lacking in the mag capacity department, but it's a laser. Getting headshots with her AR is almost like easy mode.
