[2019] Since Shiled Recruit is gone from ranked can Thermite get a Shield?

Fbi Swat Recruit with a shield is quite fun to play but they took recruit out of ranked and unranked. It would be nice to be able to play Fbi shield still but it would be more intersting to see Thermite with a shield.

By giving him a shield, how do you feel Thermite would benefit as an OP?
