I think most people can agree that Glaz is the worst operator in the game and I think should be removed from the game completely, like lion was for a total rework. Giving him frags is totally useless when his smokes match his ability, his ability which has also been nerfed into the ground. His gun is so underpowered and the introduction. of Kali renders him totally useless to any team comp. I have not played Glaz for months and believe that if he is going to be used in the future then Glaz needs an urgent rework. Also by buffing glaz, it also gives a much needed buff to warden.

Glaz's presence in the current meta is pretty much nonexistent, which is backed up by his low pick and win rate shown on the Designer Matrix. A Glaz buff would be nice, but I'm interested to see what kind of reworks you all had in mind for him. Would he still be a sniper? Would you get him a variant of Kali's sniper with a heat signature mod? Would you change his speed?

I think the reason why Kali works in Siege right now and Glaz is struggling to find his way is because the game was a lot slower when it first released. His gadget requires staying still and waiting for people to peek you, whereas now, Siege is in a meta where pushing up more and taking gunfights on the attacking side is a little more efficient.

Not the first time I've seen this suggestion on the forums, and it's definitely something interesting, I think. It's kind of wild to think about having him on defense since he's been on attack literally the whole time. Plus, thinking about how to use a sniper on defense is tough. Curious to hear other player thoughts!

What's wild is as I was starting to read your reply, I thought to myself, "Man, having someone like Glaz spawn peeking would be a nightmare." Looks like we thought the same thing! The more we talk about this, the more I'd love to see it happen. Give him a deployable shield and like, impacts or barbed and I'm in. I'm going to try and bring this up to the team! Not sure what'll happen, but it's worth a shot.

Using the TTS to test obscure and wild changes is something I've seen the community suggest a few times, and I think it would be pretty cool. For Honor does that with their Testing Grounds.
