Alright so here's the thing, I've got a Lenovo Ideapad Y700-14SIK 2016 model, and it features a i7-6700HQ and an AMD M375 graphics card. Recently I brought myself a ASUS VG248QE for better gaming experience, and I connected the monitor to my laptop using HDMI cord. Then I opened up my game and set my new monitor to the primary display, and there was the problem. The screen of my new monitor started flickering, even at the game lobby / selection part, it's like the image is flashing and moving up and down really quick. It's not like those normal ones that only cause problems after the player have entered a game round and generates dozens of polygons randomly on the screen, the rendering was fine, only the image was flashing really quick, even I'm out of a game round in the lobby.
I first tried switching between different resolutions. I set it to 1600*900, and the flickering stopped, but I can't stand the blur, so I switched it back to 1920*1080, and the flickering starts again.
The interesting thing is, I found that setting the display mode to boardless will kinda fix it, except the frame rate just dropped massively to 30 fps and made the game unplayable.
I will upload a video recorded by my cellphone showing how weird the flickering is
Guys, plz help me QwQ
