We are still working on finalizing and releasing it during season 2, not necessarily when season 2 launches.

Thanks for giving me an opportunity to clarify on a few things.!

  • The true fix for the exploits is a massive reconfiguration to how we handle one of the most critical components of the game. We are testing it as much as possible before releasing it. This is a temporary solution why we make sure that the true fix doesn't have an hidden nastys. :)

  • Drop shotting will only be back for a short time. Not ideal, but sometimes these things happen . We currently have a fix planned for 2.1 if it tests well!

  • Bomb is our most played and most balanced game mode.

  • Not sure what you're saying about Casual matchmaking. Happy to answer if you could clarify!

Performance restrictions. Higher FOV requires more processing power, lowering frame rate.

As I've some years of intense IT background as well i do know that sometims fixes can take some time and I'm sure you're doing your best to get things up and running again :) But Imo taking some more time to get things fixed would be better than temporary solutions, which could probably bring some more unwanted side effects. But thats just my opinion and the way I would solve problems like these. And for sure, it's not the easiest decision between taking some loadouts(claymores, shields, etc.) out of the game for probably months and making a temporary fix, which allows you to use these gadgets again instantly.

Regarding casual matchmaking: More often than sometimes it feels like matchmaking/ranks in casual differs way too much between attackers and defenders, means we're getting stomped by much stronger opponents. For sure there's enough space for getting better on my side, i know ;) but in some matches I really do feel like cannon fodder... comparing to ranked mode, ranked seems so much better balanced to your own skill level. In ranked the opponents are too strong sometimes as well, but most of the time I do at least feel like I have a real chance to beat them.

Interesting point regarding casual matchmaking! We actually use the exact same system for ranked and casual. Casual has a MMR just like ranked, but it isn't displayed. It is likely that people play them differently, so it is less accurate than their Ranked rank.

Yes. I'm not in the office so I'm not sure on the timing, but we are planning to prevent her from being selectable again.
