Thanks for your suggestion! As Laslus mentioned, it would cause a bit of a split with competitive players. It would also impact the standards for the competitive scene. Do you believe Hostage or Secure The Area are modes that are capable of being a “competitive standard”? It feels like these modes have a higher potential of being cheesed/abused more than Bomb.
I also think having separate MMRs per each mode would also be a bit tedious and wouldn’t make sense. I know Overwatch has implemented role-specific MMRs, but I don’t believe it would work the same for Siege with different game modes. It also wouldn’t make sense to have the win/loss amount differentiate between each mode. I don’t see how you could quantify the difference between each mode to MMR value.
But at the same time, I do understand you enjoy these types of modes and would like to play them in a competitive environment. The main issue with it would be being able to keep competitive integrity intact.
