This thread isn't going to be closed since everyone seems to be asking valid questions about the ban wave. At any rate, ban waves happen after we discover a new cheat. When we've identified all the variables and markers, we issue a mass ban wave on individuals who are using the hack.

But wasn't this ban wave only people that used MizuSofts cheats? MizuSoft probably made Ubi a deal to give them all of their customers info if Ubi drops the lawsuit.

I didn't get specifics when asking about the ban wave, so I couldn't tell you what it was in detail.
