[2021] Am I the only one who feels like shield hit boxes are unfair?

Shields are definitely in an interesting place. I've seen a solid amount of players call for a buff, but I haven't been able to find any specific buff requests which is totally understandable. Applying any kind of buff to shields is a delicate business considering one wrong move could make them incredibly frustrating to play against.
