[2020] Elite skin question

As example, I would buy the complete Elite Skin, but why cant I use the animation on different skin builds?

It would be a cool edition to the game to mix and match Elite skin portions with other cosmetic. I've seen some players request this addition, and I believe the dev team is aware this is wanted, but I don't have any additional information to share at this time.
