Rainbow Six Siege - Feature Requests Thread

I'll start with the basics that R6 fans have asked for before:

0) HARDCORE MODE to disable hit indicators, health regen/revive, ammo counter, onscreen damage indicator, reload indicator, instant death messages, kill cam view, objective indicator and any other crutches that we don't need!

1) Dedicated Stand Alone Server files - not just run from an active player

2) Mod/Mapping tools - A map editor should be released with the game, if not before to allow player created maps

3) Server Side Customization Options - We need either a HARDCORE mode, or enough options on the server to create one
(Don't do like you did on Vegas 2 and add hardcore to PC in the final patch and have it only work for one round and never fix it!)

4) Ability to partially and fluidly open/close doors using mouse-wheel

5) Switch Sides Mid Match - This was a feature left out of Ravenshield that meant you played every round of the match as attacker or defender without ever switching sides)

6) No 3rd person magical cheat views (I assume by the video you won't put this back in)

7) No magical health regen (It looks like you have a minor bit of this, it would be nice if revive and health regen could be disabled server side or part of a HARDCORE mode)

8) GIMPING - Please have someone shot in the legs made to limp or move slowly, and those hit in upper body should be less accurate. We need penalties for being wounded.

9) Prone

10) No UNLOCKS or Leveling advantages! Everyone should have access to everything from the start in multiplayer!

11) Footprints in snow that disappear over time (That was in both Rogue Spear and Ravenshield)

I'll probably add more to this list later, but everyone feel free to speak your mind on what features consistent with R6 that you would like to see.

1. The planning and preparation phases are key moments in a round, a time when players can choose the best insert point and approach.

The preparation phase is crucial. During this phase, attackers get to use observation tools (i.e. drone) to locate the hostage, analyze the enemy’s defenses, and scout out enemy positions. Defenders need to quickly fortify their position.

2. Core to the siege gameplay experience, procedural destruction gives the player the ability to modify the level design in real time by creating holes in walls, floors, and windows using weapons or explosives.

In Rainbow Six Siege, destruction is meaningful and mastering it is often the key to victory.

We still have a way to go until release, so give it time for Community Developers to post.

In the meantime, Forum Managers will gather your feedback, please be reassured that the Developers are reading your suggestions and feedback
