Hey there folks,
For 2 weeks I just can't normally play rankeds with my friends. 1st ranked starts normally, 2nd sometimes starts and on 3rd one I'm 100% getting a Battle eye bad service version error (don't remember the error code). I have googled some fixes (people experience this error for years now, not only in Rainbow Six Siege) none of them helped, Ubisoft Support just sent me a generic answer, like I didn't try the solutions proposed. Battleye support just didn't answer at all. After this error appears I got kicked out of the match and I cannot recconect to it at all. Has anyone experienced error like this and managed to fix it somehow?

The only solution that works right now is to start some quick matches or deathmatches before starting 2nd or 3rd ranked. There is a 99% chance that it won't kick me out.

Hello z4g4ni4cz thank you for getting in touch with us and letting us know you are experiencing error messages related to BattlEye.

To help resolve this specific issue with BattlEye, I would advise trying the following steps that have been known to fix similar error messages >

1. Please make sure Windows has installed its latest updates on your PC, so that your security certificates are up to date. You can check for any pending Windows Updates by navigating to >
Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update

2. Next, please run BattleEye with administrator rights so you give the program full permission to launch. It may appear as BEService or BEService_x64 in your system files and can usually be found in the game's installation folder, or in this location >
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye

- Find the BEService or BEService_x64 application file and right-click on it
- Select Properties
- Select the Compatibility tab
- Check the "Run this program as an administrator" option
- Select Apply then Ok

3. Next, please make sure to also add these specific files to your antivirus whitelist and Windows Firewall settings, to make sure they are not preventing the program from connecting online.

Should these steps not resolve the issue for you, I recommend looking on BattleEye's support website, but through their FAQ page in particular, as it goes into further detail on what to do about “Failed to install BattlEye Service.”  error messages in particular, here > https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/
