I'm sorry that you are having this issue. If you are still having this issue, I recommend running through this FAQ[support.ubi.com] to try to resolve.
If the game thinks you are in a ranked game, you may need to wait for this "game" to end also. I apologize if you get an abandonment penalty - this is a known issue that we are investigating!
