Hello everyone,
Today I’d like to talk about something my friends and I were all curious about a while back, that I finally answered this past week. Basically, we were all genuinely intrigued as to how much money or gold was in the map of bank, and it turns out it was a lot. I made a video about it, but I’ll also be posting all the numbers and the whole process down below, so pick your poison, but enjoy!

Essentially, I went through every room and outdoor area on the map and counted every bill or form of currency. To start, I found money on the desk in the side office from open room, which contained 3 things of which I named big stack, scatter stack, and money counter. The money counter was easy, it literally had the total on the digital display and two stacks, so I doubled it. Lets just say, this was by far the easiest part of this whole process.
Next was the scatter stacks, which i found multiple times through the map. The scatter stack is comprised of 13 bands of $20 bills. And lastly in this area, was the BIG stacks. I calculated it out to be 30 total bands in that one pile, and let me tell you this now, it was a lot...
So far, those were were 3 out of the 5 “types of currency” I found in the map.
After hitting that area, I moved onto the front desk, where i found more scatter stacks and a new, interesting collection of money. A duffle bag. The duffle bag was a mysterious black bag that contained bands of 100 US dollars, and that posed an immediate threat to my goal of counting up all the money in bank. I couldn't count the number of bills inside and I couldn't find the size of the bag, but we will get to that later...
Anyways! I proceeded to the back area, and found more duffle bags and a second money counter, and more scattered. I added them up quickly and continued searching.
This was surprisingly all I could find on the first floor, so I made it to the second. The second also did not contain much more than the ceo room, which had a small scatter and another duffle bag. Nothing new.
I proceeded to the basement, the real holder of treasure in this building. Immediately money was everywhere. The first part of the vault sported two tables, containing more than the other two floors combined. These tables had multiple duffle bags, scattered stacks, BIG stacks, and money all over the floor. I meticulously counted up the room and hurried to the real part of the vault.
Within this next room I found a whopping 68 BIG stacks and 2 duffle bags. It took me a while, but I counted the exact number of stacks in this room and the joining hallway, which sported another additional duffle bag and BIG stack.
After tackling that feat, I moved to the second holy grail, the true jackpot 2.0, the 5th and final type of money here, gold bars. There are tons, and I mean literal TONS of gold bars in this one room, and their disorganization made it a pain to count them.
And that's it, that's all the money in bank. Didn’t seem like much right? Wrong.
In total, I found 79 BIG stacks 2 Money counters 49 Scatter stacks 10 Duffle bags, And 3716 Gold bars
Still not convinced that's a lot? Let's get into the real value of these 5 numbers i have.
First, the money counters. Small game. Adds up to 9,600 dollars
Next, those scatter stacks. While merely small stacks of Andrew jacksons, these forgotten 20 dollar bills can really add up. This is where the first part of research comes in with a little handy dandy key, I valued one 20 dollar band at 2000 dollars, based on the color of the band and the width. So, with there being thirteen of these per stack, one scatter stack sums up to 26,000 dollars and a grand total of 1.274 million dollars for all stacks!!
Next we have those duffle bags. The duffle bags were difficult at first, and I originally thought it was impossible to figure out how much money was in there. However, i found a loophole with the dollar bills. Using the 100 dollar bill inside of the bag as a unit of measurement, I was able to find the scale of a real dollar to the size in game, and from there, find the size of the bag. In game, or, from my screen, the size of a bill was 2 inches and the size of the bag was around 11.5 inches. After getting more measurements, i successfully found the volume of the bag. After that, i soon realized i needed the volume of each individual band too. With a google search, I found the average size of a stack of 100 dollars bills (a band of them) is roughly .43 inches, I scaled that to in game, and found the volume of a band of 100 dollar bills. All these numbers lead to me finding how many bands were in one duffle bag. This had a total of of 1,016 bands per bag, which i am rounding down to 1,000 for simplicity and margins of error in sizing. Now here’s the crazy part. Multiply the worth of 1 band times the total and you get a whopping 10 million dollars!!! In ONE duffle BAG alone!
All that moolah, in ONE regular duffle bag! Crazy but that much money, really can fit in that space. In total, I found 10 duffle bags, having a grand total of 100 million US dollars. All in duffle bags, left by the robbers for me to count up.
Next, the BIG stacks. In my notes, I labeled these big stacks BIG stacks for a reason, and I will explain this to you right now. First off, its obvious one of these stacks is a lot of money. Look at it, its stacks upon stacks of euros all packaged up. There was an initial problem with finding the value though. I couldn't find what type of band it was or how many were in one band. To solve this, i used the stacks in the vault to scale the real euro to the in game one to find just how wide one stack was. One euro is about .15 mm wide, and i had about a 2 inch thick band in game. After converting and scaling, i came to a final amount of 1,904 euro papers per band, which I rounded to 2,000, to fix the margin of error. This is where it gets crazy. Multiply that by the value of each bill and you get 200,000 euros a band. Alone. Now multiply that by the whole stack, which we previously found to be 30 per BIG stack, and you get a massive number of 6,000,000 million euros per stack!! Multiply that by the 79 stacks and you get 474 million euros, which is an insane amount of money...
Until of course, you factor in the true money maker.
Obviously i am talking about those sweet, juicy, golden bars. This Bank is LOADED with Gold, so much so it could rival Federal Reserve Bank Vaults. While I couldn't find the measurement of the gold bars’ size, density, and karat, since this is a US bank and the shape of the bars looks standard , i am going to make an assumption that each bar is a standard, good delivery bar.
A good delivery bar is 24 karat, which is the highest and purest form of karat. This bar weighs about 400 oz. As of this week, the gold market values gold at 1,304 dollars per ounce of gold. So with 3,716 gold bars, each of which is 400 oz, that brings us to an astounding 1,486,400 ounces of gold. This means, that in the bank vaults, (brace yourselves, make sure you are ready for this number), there is 1 BILLION, 938 MILLION, 265 thousand and 600 dollars worth of gold!! (1,938,265,600) Now THAT is a lot of money, and by far the majority of money in this whole map. All of this, just in some golden earth metal, in a room that is probably 15ft by 8 ft. Crazy.
Add ALL of that money up,convert euros to dollars, and you get a final total of….. Drum roll….
Oh, I DID also take the time to count up the money seen on all these floors, which only counted up to about 143,820 dollars. Bump that in and you get a TRUE final count of……...
2,576,782,420 dollars!
With over 2.5 billion in this bank, you can see why the white masked terrorists would be so interested in robbing this place.
Some fun facts about the bank: if the bank has 2.5 billion in reserve money, its safe to assume that this bank has about 25 billion in assets. This places this ONE building as the third largest bank in California, and the 72nd largest bank in the US. And thats just this bank ALONE, assuming this bank has other open locations with similar reserves, say, 4 others or so, that means this Company could potentially be worth over 125 billion, making it the 32nd largest bank in the U.S. and the largest bank in California.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you enjoyed and learned something! :)
