Good evening (at least for me),
I've been a player of Rainbow Six Siege since the beginning, and I've loved this game like a baby. There is, however, something undeniably missing from the game--PvE and campaign. While this has been missing, Siege has always emphasized its multiplayer nature. Now, however, Quarantine appears to be a direct response to this common feedback. As per the Outbreak event, however, some ideas break what many would consider to be the inherent realism in Tom Clancy games. An alien capsule doesn't seem very realistic, after all. Here's a solution:
We've seen the white mask perform chemical/biological attacks before (Article 5). Quarantine (and all Siege-related similarities) should include the white mask as the source of the outbreak. Unable to control their own dangerous virus, the white mask become over-ridden and cause an outbreak. The Operators from Rainbow Six Siege are then sent in to both prevent further contamination and control places already contaminations. This, of course, provides a variety of enemies for player to face (both "zombies" and terrorists--including the all-loved bombers). This also provides a reason for secure area and bomb in terrorist hunt--Team Rainbow has been sent in to stop yet another outbreak. This idea provides plenty of "campaign" options for the multiplayer storyline of Rainbow Six Outbreak. Whether the operators stumble into infected white mask terrorists or players see an ultimate reveal, some really cool moments can be created.
I apologize if I have not posted this in the specific place the Rainbow Six moderators would like (as I see no other place to put it), but I believe every Rainbow Six fan is drooling over the thought of Rainbow Six Quarantine's release. We hope it'll be the best PvE game yet, and we hope you keep the tactical and realistic nature of Tom Clancy games (and, of course, we look forward to the amazing cinematics of those like Article 5 and the Outbreak event!). Feel free to contact me on all regards.
All the best,
Shawn
