We are completing the preparation of the game for the next wave of private tests. As a result of the work on the bugs according to the results of the January tests, the game has undergone a lot of positive changes. Here are the most important ones:
- Operatives would have faces and hairstyles (it was previously planned that the faces of all characters will cover helmets, masks, bandanas, gas masks, etc.).
- We finally decided that it's necessary to make it possible to pass the story campaign with and without PvP missions. In this regard, the number of story missions in the release version of the game will be significantly increased, and the passage of PvP missions and side quests would only provide additional experience for leveling up and speed up the accumulation of intelligence data needed to open the key story missions.
- Previous tests have shown that the start of PvP combat looked a bit boring for a player who is waiting for an opponent’s move before detecting enemy units. Therefore, we decided to make sure that before the opponents detect each other, the battle went on asynchronously, and the waiting for the move was accompanied by monitoring the movement of the enemy fighters discovered.
- In PvP missions opponents controlled by AI would appear, who would complicate missions (aliens, robots, mercenaries of other human factions, etc.).
- A lot of visual improvements, a new system of replicas and characters of operatives, improvements in tactical AI, etc.
We'll also invite players who have purchased the Early Access packs from our site before the end of Q1, to take part in a small Private Beta Test, which would take place shortly before the Early Access start.
Our artists prepared another wonderful calendar with RAM Pressure weapons, so that you would not be so bored waiting for the launch of the Early Access :)
