[2018] Massive Multiplayer tag

Which nutjob decided to add a Massive Multiplayer tag to a game that is obviously not Massively Multiplayer?

As you could see in FAQ, there is Multiplayer: "Multiplayer. Is this game going to be Co-op or PVP?

PvP 1x1 mostly, Co-op PvP 2x2 for alliance vs alliance battles."

Yes, such servers would be in the game. But in one battle would meet 2x2.

Not in one match/mission. One battle is only 1x1 or 2x2 (for clan wars), but massive numbers of players are in one world at one time, so they could be matched with other players who are online. Besides progress of the battles will be shown on the global map (like it was in "For Honor"), as well as special points on the map for clan wars. So, despite the fact you'll be able to fight only 1x1 or 2x2, it is still sort of Massive Multiplayer Online.
