This might be common opinion but I’ll say it anyway. The reaction time of the enemies in RoN is very small, to stay realistic, and can cause issues for many players. People have been calling for longer reaction times for enemies, but I don’t think this is the issue, nor is the 1st-3rd shot accuracy particularly (although it being reduced is realistic). The main issue is the speed at which an enemy can bring their gun from at their hip to firing. Most of them may as well be Arthur Morgan with the speed at which they can lift an m4a1. If there was proper animations for bringing guns from a low ready to a firing position, then I think the main flaw of this game would be addressed.

We are working on anims and blends for this but yep, definitely a big contributor.

Hostage rescue in general will recieve a major rework in the future. Too many similar feeling mission types in our game.
