Is there a reason my game says €1.59 but in steam it's £1.69?
I know the pound is plummeting but it's not that bad
Sometimes Valve/Steam sends the wrong currency into the game client. Once you go to buy the DLC, the proper currency type and price will be displayed, though.

Eventually the new mode is like the others? No idea of creating something completely new? Srlsy why dont develop a REAL volleyball mode, with a net, with 2 fields, add another 2 players and create a 4v4 volleyball. Idk. Maybe I'm just asking for something too big? But adding a curved ball to the way too bright pitched summer map is not a dedicated of implementing a serious gamemode called volleyball.

We have said multiple times that we don't have any plans to implement volleyball; like anything, this could change in the future but for now, there's no intention. Additionally, this mode is called Beach Ball. I'm not sure where the confusion with it being called Volleyball came from, but I'm sorry if that was misinterpreted somewhere.
Devin, I'm wondering why this isn't included with the announcement of the vehicle officially. Every time a new car comes out, everyone always asks about the hitbox and you guys make a comment after the fact on Reddit. While that's nice, wouldn't it make more sense to include that information alongside the announcement of said vehicle? Especially because not everyone sees Reddit comments.
We don't include the hitbox in marketing material because it's not a focal point for players outside of the hardcore group (this subreddit included). This is why we usually surface it on Twitter or Reddit in other ways -- ways we know the players that care about hitboxes will be able to see.
My best guess is that most people who buy the DLC don't care about those details, so it doesn't make sense from a marketing standpoint, but the information is there for those of us who look for it (i.e. on reddit).

for what it's worth, i've been documenting the entire summer event here [1]. it's (in my humble opinion) the one-stop-shop for every bit of info around the summer event: items, prices, even all the secret codes. with the prices going live (and the new avatar!) i've updated the document accordingly. sadly, i suspect this will be the final update of the event.
hey /u/Psyonix_Devin.. maybe psyonix can produce a retro-retro after the event completes? ex: how many summer crates dropped.. how many summer crates were opened.. how many secret codes were entered.. how many goals were made.. how many "What a Save!" comments were made.. how many games of ghostball/spikeball/beachball were played.. etc.
