[2023] leaderboards on rogue company are live

So with this new update we received leaderboards on rogue company, https://www.roguecompany.com/leaderboard/ but we have no explanation on how they work, so maybe jared or radar could you pls explain how they work, also im assuming the leaderboards are not going based of amount of rp, since looking at these leaderboards i cant even find myself in top500 when i have 4250 rp in rogue, so that also creates the question of how are we supposed to grind these leaderboards? would be nice if we could get some explaining

Don't panic! This was quietly turned on by the Web team with some test data(hence you currently aren't able to manually navigate to it on the site). It's not using legitimate data, it'll come online officially after a bit post-patch (if it officially went live on day 1 there would be 0 people on the list).

The leaderboard is intended to show Rogue Ranked players sorted by their RP values to which will be updated consistently and we keep an eye on things for any potential exploits.

Really should just take this leaderboard down temporarily, and try to have a few people verify that they are legit players.

It's test data(the real data will start forming once the new ranked season starts!) that isn't really based on anything significant. Web team going through their testing so don't panic! The final version will be sorting Rogue Ranked players by their RP.

Also thanks for pointing that dude out. We'll take a look >:)

Yes, this is the first step of our leaderboards, this one will be officially running off of RP. We'll slowly introduce more and more that cover the other things that you've listed and more

We have a 3rd party team that is building out a bunch of stuff for us and HiRez at large, the RoCo API being one of them. It'll take a bit but yes

Yep, there'll be a clickable panel on the bottom right in-game that'll direct you to it! I believe we are additionally including a QR code somewhere for our console players as well

Hmm, those that leveled up automatically was somethign that wasn't supposed to happen. They were supposed to be still at 550 like you. Can you provide me some player names?

We found that having players shoot through levels due to the excessive XP at 550 causes some real issues with rewards. So we had to fall back on skimming off the excess XP but granting 550lvl players a title.

That being said, you WILL get the rewards you missed once you hit the next level up mile stone(getting all of those supply drops) so don't worry there.
