In my head canon, they're kind of into it, roleplaying as hornless unicorns - and getting paid for it to boot (or indeed hoof).

Horses are referenced in The Needle Skips. Might want to have the Ninjas look into that :^)

There's references to horses in external sources like the novels too. It seems like an insur-mount-able obstacle sometimes.
Unfortunately Needle Skips has lovely voice acting throughout, so I can't see that one ninjaing due to the asset dependency. Head canon suggestions welcome.
It's just a typo. "The Hoarse" is just a description for their pet yak who has an unusual vocal problem.
