I completely understand breaking down regular RDT drops when using the scrimshaw of sacrifice but for one of the most RAREST items in game to be destroyed is kind of absurd I think. Considering some monsters still have random drops still appearing (EDIT: IMPS for example still drop Fliers). After playing nearly 12 years, this completely ruined my mood for the game. I'd be lying if I said I wish this was fixed and I would get something but I know the chances are slim to none but for at least other people, PLEASE FIX THIS!
Edit to point out my point for posting: My post is meant for two options for fixing. Like someone stated, don't even broadcast a message for any drops. That or really my whole confused logic is why would I still get some pointless drop from time to time like stated above for Imps. If things like that are exempt, you'd think the HSR would be too. I completely understand my x54 super restore/x97 prayer potion drops got destroyed. Not the rarest item in game, but hey, I got my flier.x2 Edit: Realized its not dark beasts dropping the flier. It's Imps (I kill dark beasts under morytania tower).
