[2019] Why cant I hit 12k with my mage set up?

I have full virtus, noxious staff, ammy of souls, lotd, a god book, kiln cape and a rune pouch. I see people with anima core hit 12ks and I can’t even hit 9ks. I have no perks on my staff. I don’t see what I’m doing wrong, I also use overloads. I’m still new to pvm, all will help. Thank you
