Runescape has been around for almost two decades. Because of that, a lot of us have grown up with it and have memories of playing it as a child. Aside from being embarrassingly susceptible to scams, I used to believe a lot of funny and incorrect things about the game. Here are a few:
- I thought that for training hunter, you have to go hide after you deploy the trap to increase the chance of catching something. So I'd go back and forth, deploying and running behind a bush
- I thought that getting hurt would help you skill constitution faster.
- It took me forever to figure out how to change combat settings, so I was unintentionally pure for a long time lol
I was curious what other weird things people have thought about the game. I'm sure there are more for me, these are just the ones I can remember off hand.
