I'm creating my final project for my web development bootcamp. I want to make something I'm proud of and useful to the runescape community.

The idea behind this project is to display tweets and reddit posts from jmods for people who don't use either site. To help bridge the communication gap between players and devs.

If this ends up being successful, I plan to publish this on Heroku. Maybe a Discord bot when I'm competent enough.

Current project framework: Users create an account. Users can type in a jmod's name. That will result in their 10 latest tweets and reddit posts if available. If the name doesn't include @Jagex it won't show anything.

Users can save these queries as the Jmod's name. Users can reload these queries by clicking on the Jmod's name.

Because it will only retrieve the last 10 tweets/comments, users can choose to save specific ones.

Users can 'like' specific tweets. There will be a page listing the most popular tweets/comments.

If possible, users type in an item, quantity, price, and whether they bought or sold. These instances will list the difference between your price and the current grand exchange price.

Might make it so 'recommended accounts' don't require an account to view, as I want this to be accessible to everyone.

If you read this far, thank you. Do you have a list of 'recommended mods' you want to see? Ramen and Pi, of course, will be included.

Any questions or suggestions?

Definitely took that into consideration. That's why I'm going around asking for a list of recommended mods people would like to see. It would show their name and what they do.

Example:

Mod Ramen:

Content Developer for RuneScape; bosses, quests, narrative, combat systems design

@JagexRamen u/JagexRamen

People like Mod Ash respond to almost everything on Twitter including things unrelated to osrs. Thats why people will be able to save specific tweets so they aren't lost to the void.

You're missing 'Absolute unit' and 'Stud' from my description.

(I like the idea! Good luck!)
