I see what you mean in how it doesnt affect you if you ignore the promo. The reason this is a big deal is because they made an in house choice that instead of updating Virtus as a patch they decided to lock it behind a limited time paywall. Which begs the question what else that we want is being planned to be released via MTX instead of a simple update?
I feel like this comment is taken out of context, I just wanted to make clear that it was not planned as an original update and then we decided to put it behind microtransactions. Which was what the OP of the other thread had stated.
Things like these do make me and others less likely to reply to MTX related threads though. Because everything we say will often be twisted and used against us. While I was hoping we could talk about this just like we do in any other topic.
