Unfortunately a section on Interface Scaling from an earlier newspost draft got removed, while the mention of it did not. I've taken that line out now. Apologies for the confusion.

So the consistent factor we've had reported so far makes this seem specific to ver 10.13 - we're not seeing it here on OS 10.14 or higher. If you can (and want to) update your OS, that should get you playing in the here and now.

Apple has been requiring new software distributed with a Developer ID outside of the ‌‌Mac App Store‌‌ to be notarized in order to run since macOS Mojave 10.14.5, released on May 13, 2019. Almost 17 months ago!

The latest Mac client has a build date of September 24, 2020. Why isn't it notarized?

This is in the backlog to be looked at in the near future. I agree on the importance of it

We haven't got any updates to share as yet I'm afraid - we're working on it though. Since the problem is occurring specifically on quite an old OS, we're having to do some setup legwork to properly test against it.
