I just tried logging in on mobile myself, and (did actually have an update), maybe it took a second between the appstore and our systems to sync.
However, it took considerably longer to longer to log in that usual, but I got in eventually. I'll keep an eye out.
Update:
I've spoken to the the team, and they informed me that it can sometimes take up to 30 minutes for the update in the appstore to become available to everyone.
they say the servers are fine now but I am still loading the game forever...I am in asia. anyone same ?

Seeing the responses below, we've now started an investigation.
Anyone know if I'm able to start the yak track,getting the free itens and then upgrade for premium yak track and receiving the premium rewards after that?
Whenever you upgrade, you'll be able to get all the premium rewards for the tasks you've already completed (as well as any that you complete after).
Apparently they changed Professor Tony's name to Guildmaster Tony.
He got a well-deserved promotion!

There are some players reporting that the game is not as running as smooth as it usually does This is most likely a result of the client downloading a huge amount of assets into the cache. (Something something preparation for Archaeology #HYPE)
