[2023] Current item dupe exploit

There is currently an item dupe exploit in the game that is becoming more easily replicated. I've known about it for months after an accidental white party hat duplication.

I've reported this in game many times and the mod i contacted about the issue itself has suggested there's nothing more that he can say.

The method isn't consistent but is becoming more and more repeatable as the servers become worse. there is no limit to what can be duped and in what quantity (what ever can be traded in the inventory), so intentionally doing this once with a large amount of high value items could be devastating on the economy.

if there's a Jmod that would actually take this seriously I'm more than willing to explain how this is done again in the hopes that the fix for this helps server stability. I won't be sharing how to exploit this to anyone else obviously, so don't ask.
