[2023] Necromancy special attack won't cast

Can anyone shed some light why I'm constantly getting "ability not ready yet" when trying to use Death Grasp, the weapon special attack on my death guard?

I've tried with revo and manual casting, even with 12 necrosis stacks and 100% adrenaline it will not cast, just says "ability not ready yet" in the chat box
