Good morning, Pioneers! ☕
It's the day after Experimental reveal and we're combing through all the feedback y'all have posted online and on the QA site. Thanks!
The team is ready to start hunkering down and tackling some bugs!
A short thread on *some* things we're working on:
Some folks have been reporting that the game is opening a prompt for a Epic login in the browser and can't host sessions (even if playing on Steam) - this Shouldn't™ be happening. We're looking into this. http://pbs.twimg.com/media/FCscq1UWEAANvYm.png
Note: The intention is that ALL players will have access to the dedicated servers via Steam right now, with the intention to push the servers to Epic and dockerhub too as soon as we can.
You DO NOT need to buy a Steam copy of the game to get dedicated servers.
DX12 related crash on start - if you're getting a crash report kinda like this (see attached image), consider forcing your game to start with DirectX11.
There's more info about how to do that in this video and the video description https://youtu.be/HJyfSle4o_U?t=221 (timestamped) http://pbs.twimg.com/media/FCsWnO4XoAYqDNY.png
This is not by any means an exhaustive list of everything we've seen and are working on, but thought it'd be nice to loop y'all in with a bit of an update regardless. We are looking at the QA site/social media.
Thank you all so much for your patience and feedback <3
Dedicated Server support is now a thing in Satisfactory!
And this vid has a bunch of info you might need to know about the state of dedicated servers, where to find more info, and a short demonstration!

We do know that for many folks the dedicated servers are not showing in Steam (even after allowing "tools" in the library filter). We are aware of this and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible!
