The Sea of Thieves servers are now offline for essential maintenance so that we can roll out a necessary hotfix, designed to ensure the sword block works as expected in combat encounters. We'll let you know as soon as you can return to the seas.

Attention pirates! Apologies for the short notice, but after reports of the sword block not working as intended in combat encounters last week, our team have identified a fix which will be applied today. As such, the Sea of Thieves will be taken offline from roughly 2pm UTC.
