So I’ve been thinking, that since Thanatos’s ult is his only way of escape. And it takes like 2 seconds for him to get in the air, it should get a bit of a buff. I propose that he should be able to aiges during the ult charge up on the ground. Fenrir for example can aiges during his ult, so why can’t Thanatos get the same treatment.

Most gods have an escape, like a jump that is instant, some even have multiple mobility abilities. Thanatos on the other hand is not mobile at all, and has a single movement ability which is his ult. When u get surrounded, the best option is to ult out. But late game the 2 second delay is a huge disadvantage cuz he’s a sitting duck. Often u get burned down and killed quicker then 2 seconds. So using the ult to escape during a fight is risky. Being able to aiges during the ult charge up will help with this, as you will be able to immune some (not all) of the incoming dmg.

I think this would be a nice quality of life addition to his kit. Without giving him a huge buff, as he still needs to use a relic to do this.

I rest my case.

As someone who loves playing Rat, Thana and to a degree Thor, that would be a huge buff that they don't really need, which would result in them needing nerfs in other parts. Their ults are supposed to make them vulnerable, as if they survive the period in which they are, they are almost guaranteed to survive afterwards.

High risk - high reward
