Kinda feel like the people moderating the subreddit shouldn't be having drama like this at all. How can people expect them to do their job properly when they're involved in some clown shit like this.

Obviously running a subreddit is not some kind of prestigious amazing high-qualification job but this kinda stuff shouldn't be going on within the team.

Should be the last of it, hopefully.

I'm truly sorry to everyone here on reddit that hates drama like this, I agree 100% these kinds of things should not be happening and this isn't a place where it should be ocurring.

All of you have these same no-content, f**king nothing responses lmfao.

All of you refuse to acknowledge the shitty things you've done and enabled, and instead, you all are trying to paint yourselves as some kinda of subreddit martyrs, doing the right thing, even if it's unpopular??

You're sorry that people have to SEE this? How about you be f**king sorry about how you've enabled the toxic behavior of your co-moderators, and continue to enable them by keeping them on board after sexual coercion, and manipulative behavior to women in the community.

And the thing is, I really think all of you legitimately believe the bullshit you're peddling. There's not a doubt in my mind you're all a bunch of inexperienced, young dudes, 18-22, who truly don't give a shit about the opinions outside of your little circle. Most people don't get a free lesson in this on something as meaningless as a videogame subreddit, you'd do well to learn what you can from this experience, before you continue perpetuating the same behavior in real life, where you absolutely will face consequences for actions like these.

I'm sorry it's not the response you expected, but it's my response. I didn't want to comment more as this is not something I want to involve myself in. When I say I'm sorry, I never said I'm sorry it was seen. I'm sorry cause this all happened when it shouldn't have.

I won't argue your position, I won't respond further. I do not want to be involved in this one more than I need to. However, I truly mean it when I say I'm sorry.

You don't get to enable abusive people, and then duck out with a "I don't want to get involved" when people start asking questions about your complacency. Action, and inaction, both have consequences.

Again, I can tell you're all young. I truly encourage you to learn from this, and hear out what I said. You don't want to be one of these kind of men your entire life, trust me.

I appreciate your concern. I'm not ducking out because people are questioning me, but rather because opinions of our mod team are clear on the issue. I know I can't provide info I have because it would be extremely hypocritical of me to do so, and I am aware I can't get people to agree with me without providing that evidence.

The best thing I can do, and will do, in that situation, is just let it be.

I was speaking with you civilly on the last post about this (seen here) but like most of the other mod comments you made one or two replies and then stopped. I think that is one of the most disappointing parts of all of this is that the mod team will respond to a base comment and then nothing more. You get the appearance of the team interacting heavily with the community but it is all surface level and no substantial conversations were had. I understand you guys don't want drama but this isn't drama for the sake of drama it is a majority of active users showing that they disagree with the decisions the mod team made. Had you made a decision along the lines of keeping sleek and removing triple then I highly doubt you would have seen much talk of this beyond the initial post.

I can only speak for myself, but I get far too many replies to each of my comments and I try to cover as much base as possible. It does become overwhelming rather quickly, and I usually have to take a break, and when I come back I simply reply to other comments trying to explain over again. I feel like this can be said for other mods as well, but again, this is how I do it.

I'm not doubting that you get a ton of replies during situations like this but you kinda highlighted the point I was making. By replying to other comments to explain your point again you avoid (whether intentionally or not) having meaningful conversation with the community. I was mainly bringing up the point that Embrace said they were willing to talk through this civilly yet our civil conversation was not talked through and was dropped on their end.

That's fair. Personally, I much prefer getting DM's cause most people who contact me privately actually want to discuss this openly and honestly. And that way, I don't forget. That goes for you too. I can't continue what Embrace said as I don't want to put words in their mouth, but you're free to message me privately with any questions you have.
