Game crashing at level selection after update on Linux

Hi

I'm playing Stardew Valley on Manjaro Linux, using the GOG installer. Played version 1.4.5 fine until some days ago I tried to update the game by downloading the new installer from GOG.

It replaced all the game files correctly (I also made a backup of my saves just in case). Anyway now when I start the game and click on the load save button the game gets stuck on the retrieving saves screen and then crashes.

Never played with mods or anything. Also tried to edit the game version in the saves XMLs, but nothing. I'm out of ideas. Any advice?
