A lot of people are asking about the mobile 1.5 update, so I want to confirm that it's still being worked on, and that I am still committed to it.

@ricier05 I really don't want this to happen ever again. Going forward I will probably wait until an update is ready on all platforms before releasing it.... or at least release console/mobile at the same time and take every measure possible to prevent a delay like this again

@Dojando98 I really appreciate that. But still, the update has taken a lot longer than I personally find acceptable, and there's no way I can avoid feeling a lot of pressure and stress because of that. Stress is the body's way of saying something isn't right

@aliasd331 I understand why mobile players would be annoyed, I don't blame them for being frustrated. when Stardew came out I was a complete outsider...naive to the industry. I've made plenty of mistakes but I do try to learn from them and improve always

@A_Big_Fool1 There will likely be more updates to Stardew Valley but I don't want to commit to anything

@Haden_La_Sombra I'm not sure what you mean. I never said the update was imminent, only that I was taking over as "publisher"

@Kaneyouu yeah, several things have happened, but I can't/won't go into the details. And regardless of that, the ultimate responsibility for anything that happens with Stardew Valley is on me

@Bloody_Chamber Your 1.4 save files will continue to work when the 1.5 update comes out

@CiceroRoma0 @reinleynreinley yeah, of course it would be better. I freely admit that, and I'm very unhappy about the long delay. But the reality is, the update isn't out yet. So I could either not say anything, or say "it's still coming" occasionally to let people know it's not abandoned.
