@jess_wbbr hey, yeah If you go into the options tab of the in-game menu, and scroll down to the graphics section, there is a setting called "show flash effects"

@yawningdad no engine, it's all from scratch again, but using Monogame framework this time instead of XNA (basically the same thing)

@DancingSquatch It's just pixel art. I do most things in a pretty low-tech way.

@sleeplessavenue thank you. The price will probably be the same as Stardew. It definitely won't be more

@Piney_214 There won't be anything directly analogous to the CC, but there will be elements that fulfill a similar role. One of them being the big, old castle that you are living in.

@Paulfla1 It will be similar to stardew in some ways, but it's not running a farm. And I think you'll find that it feels quite different.

@BurningRain mostly this, but I also still spend some of my time on Stardew Valley stuff. No other projects

@JaydipSanghani8 Just 1000's of hours of practice, and I've still got a lot of room for improvement. The only theory I ever read up on was about "banding", the rest was just gut feeling and noticing things that I liked or disliked about pixel art in other games

@willpower8881 Not sure yet, but probably less than 1 GB if I had to predict

@JaydipSanghani8 I'm happy with Paint dot net (plus plugins), I tried using asesprite once and it's not for me.
