@CottonCaramel69 The board game didn't eat into any video game development time at all. Also, you might be surprised to learn that board game sales were way up in 2020 amidst the lockdowns.
@jess_reads Correct, this is not a pre-order. The games are in the warehouse and ready to ship. What I meant was that we didn't really know what the demand or response was going to be before today, but now we have a better idea of how many more to do for a 2nd print run, etc.
@ErosSpellman unfortunately, not at this time. I'd like to see the game on shelves in some cool local board game shops, but for the time being it's just available on the online shop
@jefframes The 13+ is due to complexity, yes. However, some testers of the game had children younger than that and they all played together and the kids got way into it. Understanding Stardew Valley already will definitely help!
The first printing of the board game is now sold out. We've been blown away by the excitement and response! We're working on getting a second printing started, and I'll let you know when there are updates.
