[2019] Thank you, Stardew, for helping me get into college.

Man, oh man.

When I was applying to college, the supplement for one of my dream schools was about a place that mattered to me. Taking somewhat of a gamble, I set my heart on writing about the little fictional world of Stardew: and lo and behold, it all worked out.

I just wanted to make this post about all the gratitude I have to this game, not just for this, but also for getting me through some really tough times. It's also Stardew that introduced me to Reddit, and by extension, the platform itself. I played today after not playing for a few months, and it is just as magical as I remembered it being when I first picked up the game.

It's truly a wonderful world that ConcernedApe has made both in and out of the game. I am so incredibly grateful!
