Stationeers set it's all-time peak last year when we did a "pop-up sale" with valve. This was so popular, that it set the all-time concurrent record and several times more copies than we did on launch day.

In principle, yes we agree about doing a marketing push and we have discussed that on the discord, but there's a few things I wanted to point out.

1. This is a niche game, it's always going to be a niche game. The controls are non-standard and are a key part of it's charm. However, this will not be for everyone.
2. The game's active playerbase is *high* for such a niche game.

I'm going to add a forum note for this. Note that it is fine to have an opinion about whether you feel content is 'worthwhile' or not - this statement is false and misleading. There have been numerous content updates in the last few months alone adding a drastic amount of content, such as the trading update.

Note that misleading content causes flame wars, disagreement, and additionally confuses existing users. It doesn't help discussion, is unnecessary, and takes away from valid and important points you might be raising.

but we don't hear anything about plans for content and content is what really brings users in
Again, as I stated above, this is false and misleading, The update that went out yesterday included detailed description of phase change coming, and previous updates have explained how the Rocket rework is going on, as well as plans for Nuclear power and beyond. Additionally, the developers including myself discuss these on the discord as well.

As I said, it's fine and encouraged even to help us develop the game critically, but remember presenting things as facts that are not true confuse users and make it an unpleasant place for developers and users to discuss the game.
