Toxicity in my first match

I’m hoping this isn’t a common thing, but my very first match I got some toxicity from my opponent in chat. I was remarking about how goofy the catapult looked and he responded back about how it doesn’t matter because I’m losing so bad and he had 5 bases, name calling etc. I know there’s a lot of overlap with the SC2 community so it’s probably coming from there? Anyone else getting toxic opponents already?

Edit - many of the responses here are very telling of the type of community this game has. Unfortunate for sure, it’s good that there are many friendly players who are willing to be civilized. It’s a game we play for fun. No reason to be negative. No one wants to be called names and talked down to while spending their free time on a game, sharing that time with another player online somewhere.
