Stormgate is a free-to-play...

Starting August 13, 2024, every game mode in Stormgate will be playable for free, including three free prologue campaign missions, unlimited 1v1 ranked matches, 3P co-op vs. the AI, and custom games. All Heroes will be free to enjoy up to level 5 and Blockade, a Vanguard Hero, will be completely free to everyone to max level.

Purchasable content is optional. This content includes campaign chapters (each with at least three story-driven missions), unlocked Hero progression for the 3P co-op mode, or cosmetics. Purchasing a bundle on steam also gives you immediate access to Stormgate (no need to wait for August 13 to play.)
