Creating this post in case anyone else isn't receiving emails from Frost Giant as backers of the project.
I signed up for Kickstarter with an Apple ID, which forwards emails to my personal email using a private relay. This works fine if the emails are coming from Kickstarter. But if the emails are originating from someone else, for example, Frost Giant, I won't receive those emails. :'(
Kickstarter's support page says the following here:
Please note that the unique relay address tied to your Kickstarter account can only be used for communication with Kickstarter. This means that any communication sent outside of our platform by the creator will unfortunately not reach your inbox.
In this case, we'd recommend reaching out to the project creator to clarify the situation and to request that they update your email on their end.
From my understanding, I won't receive my beta key until hopefully I can get my email updated with Frost Giant. I've reached out through the Kickstarter app, but I'm sure they're swamped right now. :(
I should have just created an account on Kickstarter the old fashioned way. TIL
Hopefully this post helps anyone else who signed up the way I did. 😫
