Hey Pilot!

While we are investigating the reports received on various issues, we've deployed a small PC patch to improve overall game stability when launching in VR.

It's because of the newest Steam Update, https://steamcommunity.com/games/593110/announcements/detail/2941402621044012222

Has nothing to do with Iron Gate or Valheim in any way.

We'll be talking more about this patch, posting the full notes and a lot more exciting things next week. Hope you play and enjoy this weekend, and if you haven't left us a review on Steam yet, please do as it does help!

i know alot of devs who push out a patch and the actual notes to it an hour later

That's really weird. Whenever my team pushes a release we have the patch notes typed up and ready before we even have the deployment.
see my note above :)

This can't be for real, right? So we're not getting notification of what's changing for the entire weekend, instead it's "just guess"?)

Not to mention that 30 gigs can be quite a lot for people with slower speeds or limited plans to download in the first place. Not everyone can have access to unlimited fibre speeds y'know.

I love your guys work, but this response is.. Uh. Certainly a choice.

The notes aren't a secret, they're posted in Discord.
This is an early push of the update before it's officially launched next week.
The minute I post patch notes to Steam, it'll generate a news post which will trump our other announcements that we're planning for early next week.
