[2020] Game gets stuck after conversations in story mode

Title pretty much sums it up. In the story mode after any conversation before or after a briefing there is a chance when it's over that the camera will get stuck and you won't be able to move the camera, select other conversations or anything to proceed and you cannot press escape to go back to the main menu.

This pretty much kills it for me now, I wanna play through the story and get the most out of it but the chance that I might have to kill the game after each conversation really puts a hard stop to that.
