Have just seen a massively frustrating exploit(Right word?) in a Fleet Battle game, lost us the match.

An enemy X-Wing, while on attack, swooped round our Star Destroyer, and flew right between two of the widest engines. He soaked a little burn damage, but then was practically completely obscured from our entire team, sitting at speed 0 doing huge amounts of damage, even when the phase transition for us to attack their side. Only me and one other player spotted him, and we had to awkwardly smash our way through to get to him - we even thought he'd clipped in to the Ship at first, because his target lock location was so confusing.

On top of this, it was clear his entire build was designed for this. All the shield upgrades possible to deal with anyone coming into the 'nest' and beat a joust, trying to root him out basically cost us the game.

There's a lot of things in this game which sit on a very grey line between cheats, exploits, and just not in the spirit of the game. It's ranked, so he's doing whatever he can to win, I get that. But these kind of playstyles just feel massively frustrating when you're trying to do a star war. I really don't like being able to drop speed to 0 in any context personally, and this just adds to the pile.

I believe we've actually got a balancing change coming next week that should render this inert. We'll monitor it, though.
