A year or so after the games release, pack pricing for international players was changed so that it no longer took the exchange rate into account. This really hit home lately with the $100 packs costing us £100 here in the UK. That's £22 (or $29) per pack that we were unfairly overcharged. I'm not sure how that works out with Euros and currencies in other regions, but I'd imagine it's the same scam.

It's been theorised that this is the result of Apple imposing a tariff and CG (or perhaps EA?) deciding to make their international player base carry the cost of it, including Android users. I play a lot of other mobile apps with international micro-transaction systems and I haven't noticed this policy elsewhere.

Way I see it, if Apple places a tariff that cuts into their incredible profits, that's their problem. It shouldn't give them the right to overcharge international players for the same content.

At the very least, they should stop making Android users pay extra.

We don’t control the exchange rate at all. That happens outside of our reach. Can I ask, do you not see this exchange rate with other games though? My understanding was that is common. If I can make the case with examples, I will try for sure.

Probably consider just the Apple's own pricing tiering?

As example (there is huge table in there with options) but something that would cost 9.99$ will cost 7.99 £ (GBR). And 9.99 EUR.

Sorry that IS what I meant. We pick the pricing tier in USD and I believe the first parties set the rest. But I’ll investigate because if you’re saying that’s not what you’re seeing in other apps, then there’s something else going on.
